Sustainable mobility describes transportation choices that have low carbon footprints and do not emit greenhouse gases from fossil fuels. Shifting our modes of transportation to be more sustainable means reducing vehicle miles traveled (VMT) (also known as the number of individual trips) and reducing trips taken in Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) vehicles. |
